Terms of Use

Apartamento is an invite-only app for short-term sublets. By creating an account, signing in, or using the app you agree to these terms, which form the end-user licence agreement between you and Apartamento. If you don't agree, don't use the app.

You must be 18 or older, and one person may hold one account.

There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behaviour on Apartamento. You may not post, send, or share:

• harassment, threats, bullying, hate speech, or slurs;
• sexual content, nudity, or anything sexualising minors;
• violent, graphic, or shocking material;
• scams, fake listings, phishing, or fraudulent payment requests;
• illegal activity, illegal discrimination against tenants, or drug sales;
• spam, bulk messaging, or impersonation of another person;
• other people's private information, photos, or messages posted without consent.

You are responsible for everything you post, including content you share on behalf of a friend. Breaking these rules can get your content removed and your account permanently ejected from the network, without refund or warning.

Every listing, request, profile, and conversation has a Report or block control. Reporting sends the content to us for review; blocking removes that person and everything they posted from your feed and messages immediately, and also flags them to us.

We review reports of objectionable content and act within 24 hours: offending content is removed and the member who posted it is ejected from the network when the report stands. We also filter content automatically and screen new posts for prohibited material. Because Apartamento is invite-only, the person who invited an ejected member may lose their ability to invite others.

You keep ownership of what you post. You give us permission to host and display it inside the app so other members can see it. You confirm you have the right to post it — including photos and screenshots of a friend's listing, shared with their permission.

Apartamento introduces members to each other. We are not a party to any sublet, lease, or payment, we don't verify listings or run background checks, and we don't hold money. Check the place, read the paperwork, and never send a deposit to someone you don't trust.

You can delete your account from your profile at any time. We can suspend or remove accounts that break these terms, abuse other members, or put the network at risk.

The app is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, Apartamento is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the app or from any sublet arranged through it.
